 The Certificate of habitability is regulated at the Decree 141/2012 of the Generalitat of Catalonia. This document is necessary to: access to supplies (light, gas and water)  and to put a house at the market (at hire, sale or at cession of use) .At Feliu we will help you all the process long.

 We answer some basic questions on the Certificate of Habitability:


1.    Which type of Certificates are? Those for first occupancy/for the new build houses , of first occupancy and rehabilitated -for houses where has done a big rehabilitation- and certificates of second occupancy: for houses that already exist.


2.    How it is requested the Certificate hability? You have to attach the document of first or second occupancy. 


3.    How are the forms of 1ª and 2ª occupancy?   Here you have the form of first occupancy certificate   and rehabilitation . At case of being a house of second occupancy you has to complete this form and contact with a technical architect.


4.    Where it is the Office of citizen attention of Barcelona city? At the Aragó street number 244.  

5.    Which validity has the certificate since is emitted? 15 years.

 
6.    Which term has the Administration to accept or deny the certificate?  30 useful days from the date of reception of the application at the 'Registry of the Agency of the RealEstate'  . Obviously the application has to go accompanied with the complete documentation.


7.    It has any cost the Certificate ? If, of 130 at 150€. Once paid Feliu manages it.

8.    Who can collect the Certificate of habitability once is emitted?  The same interested that have to identify himself/herself with his NIF or any other person with a written  authorization of the applicant or owner.
